Aoba Fujino says joining Manchester City is like a dream becoming a reality.

The exciting Japanese forward has made the switch from Tokyo Verdy Beleza, where she was twice named the WE League’s most valuable player.

A breakout star at the 2023 World Cup where she became her nation’s youngest ever goalscorer in the tournament, the 20-year-old said the chance to test herself in the Barclays Women’s Super League was an attractive prospect.

After signing a three year deal at the Joie Stadium, Fujino conducted her first interview in sky blue which is available to view above.
