Raising the bar is in our DNA, and this time we’ve done it alongside AIDA - Artificial Intelligence Driving Autonomous - Politecnico di Milano team within Politecnico di Milano, the Indy Autonomous Challenge.
Together, we’ve achieved a historic milestone, setting a new world record as the Maserati MC20 Coupé became the first-ever autonomous vehicle to reach an incredible speed of 197.7 mph (318 kph) at the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility (LLF) at the Kennedy Space Center.
This achievement builds on the MC20 Coupé’s previous record as the fastest autonomous production car, having reached 177 mph (285 km/h) at Piacenza Military Airport in November 2024. Once again, this vehicle has pushed its limits, showcasing the excellence of Italian innovation and technology.
Powered by cutting-edge AI software developed by Politecnico di Milano, this collaboration, supported by MOST - Centro nazionale per la mobilità sostenibile, highlights the power of innovation and partnership in driving the future of mobility.
