New 2015 Ford Mustang by Roush Revealed.
The Roush idea of what a modded Ford Mustang should be like has just been revealed. It debuts later in the year, but we now know what to expect – it features bespoke visual and performance enhancements and just looks gorgeous finished in black (as seen in the gallery below).
Seeing all the new Ford Mustang variants done up by the top tuners in the business is really a treat. We wait for these unofficial interpretations almost as eagerly as we do the factory ones, like the GT500, especially since those usually follow sometime after the original launch of the car – the modified Mustangs scene doesn’t wait, and beats the manufacturer in creating improved versions of the base car and bringing them to market.
For Roush, the formula to Mustang perfection takes them down the custom bodykit route. The car’s aggression is enhanced thanks to a squarer front fascia treatment, made very visible by the new bumper; the grille is also new, and the nose of the car is apparently slightly longer than on the stock car.
Automobile says that if buyers will opt for the optional hood scoop, this, along with the rest of the new vents will be made functional.
Round the back, everything is very clean and pleasant, featuring a slightly different design to a stock Mustang, with a new rear spoiler, bumper and exhaust. Apparently, Roush says all their visual mods also enhance the car’s aerodynamic performance.
Finishing off the look are Roush wheels, in this case measuring 20 inches and discrete Roush badges; it also says Roush in between the rear lights.
As far as performance goes, many options will be made available. RS kits for V6 models, RS1 kits for the 2.3-liter turbo and RS2 for the 5.0-liter V8; RS3 adds a supercharger to said V8.
