ON THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY 2012, I ALEXANDER BABATUNDE ABAYOMI BOYE' BECAME A UNITED STATES CITIZEN OF THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING, WITH MANY TRYING TWISTS AND TURNS IN THE ROAD.

I ALSO JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY SWEARING IN CEREMONY WAS ON THE SAME DAY AS GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY, THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTRY. IT COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED ON A MORE APPROPRIATE DAY!

MY GOAL AND TRUE DESIRE IS TO (NOW OFFICIALLY) PLAY MY PART IN DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION OF THIS COUNTRY IN ANY WAY THAT I CAN THE THE GIFTS AND TALENTS THAT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH.

N.B.The judge put me on the spot and asked me to sing the National Anthem. Watch it here... This was one of the most SCARY and EMOTIONAL experiences of my life!!
