CITY PLAYERS VISIT THE MANCHESTER DONKEY SANCTUARY

Members of City’s Women’s squad took time out from their busy schedule earlier this week to pay a visit to the Manchester branch of The Donkey Sanctuary.

Kerstin Casparij, Julie Blakstad and Ruby Mace all travelled to The Donkey Sanctuary in Manchester to learn more about the important work of the charity which seeks to help transform the lives of donkeys.

The trio also got the opportunity to get up close and interact with the donkeys - and to check out their football skills! – as well as finding out more about the work of the charity.

And by the end of the session, Hector – one of the Sanctuary’s adoption donkeys – was officially adopted by the City squad!
