Jaguar Racing returned to the streets of New York City for Round 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

After a collision in Free Practice 1, the team performed a chassis change on Sam Bird's Jaguar I-TYPE 5 and in heroic efforts, the team had the car complete within 6 seconds of parc ferme allowing Sam to set a qualifying lap for Round 10. Bird went onto to finish P9 securing fastest lap along the way. Teammate, Mitch Evans began the race with a flying start making up 7 positions before an electrical issue put an end to his race.
