"No sé, pienso que estamos en el fútbol y esto cambia mucho. Como dije siempre, yo quiero seguir ahí y es un sueño poder continuar en un club grande", afirmó James a 'Radio Caracol' tras la victoria de su selección ante Paraguay en la Copa América.
El de Cúcuta fue duda hasta el final por su lesión en el hombro, pero advirtió que desde que se lesionó en el primer encuentro "siempre" tuvo "ganas" de poder estar ante los paraguayos. "Tuve esa iniciativa de jugar y cuando tienes ganas es mucho más fácil todo", confesó, recalcando que fue un partido "duro y con mucha intensidad" y que "es una lesión con la que hay que tener cuidado".
El jugador del Real Madrid se mostró también satisfecho por protagonizar los dos goles, con asistencia y tanto. "Creo que estuve bien y que hice mi trabajo. Soy uno más de este equipo y quiero siempre ayudar", sentenció.
