Last week, I got a call from Sony music to see if I had any interest in covering a song from one of their new artists named "Khalid" pronounced 'KUH-LEED'. I was blown away first of all to get the call, and then the 2nd time when I checked him out. He's just 18 yrs old, and is about to start a major tour! He is definitely on this years "One to watch blow up next" list!

Big shout out to 'cosmo' the camel. The most chilled animal ever. Which is a huge credit to owner Sherrie Ivie!! In fact, I was more of a diva than the Cosmo was! We got caught in a huge sandstorm that about blew me off cosmos back! I complained the whole time about the sand blowing in my face, and getting in my eyes and in my....anyways. Cosmo says to me, "just chillax little man! Just count yourself lucky you're not sitting in some office cubicle, filing papers, and answering to an overworked and underpaid boss. (Only knocking it if that was what you weren't born to do)

How do you respond to that kind of wisdom coming from a camel? Ha ha!
