Inspired by Germanic folklore, a tragedy at a mysterious lake continues to haunt a family years after the incident. As Jack Coyle struggles to keep his shattered family together, a strange and powerful entity reveals itself again, opening the wounds for another tragedy to occur. As Jack deals with the consequences, he also must protect his young niece from this frightening creature which threatens to destroy everyone.

1. Of course, we all remember Dee Wallace as the mom in Steven Spielberg's classic, E.T. But horror fans also know her from Cujo, The Howling, Critters, and The Hills Have Eyes.

2. You may remember Michael Pare as a true icon of the '80s, breaking through with a supporting role in The Greatest American Hero, before taking the title role in the cult rock 'n' roll film Eddie & The Cruisers, subsequently co-starring in Streets of Fire and the TV action series Houston Knights. More recently he's had roles in such hits as Hope Floats, The Lincoln Lawyer and The Virgin Suicides. Sci-fi fans also know him from the cult series Starhunter.
