When we saw this off-grid boulder house in Portugal, we just had to rent it. Visiting the village of Monsanto in rural Portugal has been a bucket list experience we've wanted to check off the list for a long time.

Now it finally happened, and we couldn't have loved it more. Monsanto is an incredible and fairy-tale like place everyone should visit.

The off-grid boulder house we rented was the perfect place to stay while exploring the area. Our rental came complete with a wood-burning stove, a cozy living area, and a kitchen stocked with all the essentials.

Even though it's off-grid, we didn't need to think extra about electricity usage and so on. It was like living in a normal home, but in a much more magical environment.

We highly recommend renting an off-grid boulder house in Portugal – it's an experience you won't forget!
