FIG Official - It was a thrice golden weekend for Bulgaria’s Simona Dyankova, Stefani Kiryakova, Madlen Radukanova, Laura Traets, and Erika Zafirova, who combined to sweep the individual titles in Baku.
The Bulgarians bested Italy’s Alessia Maurelli, Martina Centofanti, Agnese Duranti, Daniela Mogurean and Martina Santandrea, whose enchanting new routines earned the “Farfalle” solid silvers across the disciplines.
Azerbaijan and Belarus split the remaining bronzes, with the host nation earning a place on the podium with its 5 Balls routine, while All-Around bronze medallist Belarus took a second third place finish with the 3 Hoops/2 Pairs of Clubs.
