Using state-of-the-art Oculus Rift technology, we gave Audi fans visiting the Goodwood Festival of Speed the chance to experience what it would be like to be in the passenger seat as racing legend Allan McNish raced around Silverstone. What some of those who took part didn't know was that while they experienced a virtual lap of the famous race track in a 360º video, three-times Le Mans winner McNish was actually sat next to them in the car.
Our video shows some of the best reactions from Audi fans when they experienced the drive.
