FIG Official – 17th World Gymnaestrada, Amsterdam (NED), 30 July – 5 August 2023.
The 17th World Gymnaestrada got under way with an Opening Ceremony featuring flags, music and some eye-catching Gymnastics at Amsterdam’s Olympic Stadium, which welcomed almost 19,000 Gymnastics enthusiasts for this non-competitive celebration of their sport.
A long line of smiling, flag-waving performers gathered in their national groups behind their flags and paraded from RAI Convention Centre to the Olympic Stadium.
On the following day, Group Performances featuring more than 150 groups from five continents got under way on seven stages at RAI.
