Closing Ceremony, Saturday, 5 August 2023
This was the last act of an event which will linger in the memories of all who participated in the 17th World Gymnaestrada and the finale captured the prevailing spirit of friendship and togetherness that has brought performers from 56 nations to Amsterdam. It included the World Team performance with nearly 2000 participants from 25 different countries and concluded with displays from Portuguese groups after the flag was officially handed over to the organisers of the next World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon in 2027.
